Known as the foremost award-giving body that recognizes the best entities and corporations in field of real estate, the Thailand Property Awards continues to be one of the country’s most respected property competitions. An annual event hosted by Ensign Media, Thailand Property Awards is poised to unveil two new additions to its categories for the year 2013.
Victory for Villas
The new awards, “Best Villa Interior Design” and “Best Villa Architectural Design,” are expected to grace the event on September 19. These categories were included to laud the positive impact of Thailand’s soaring high-end villa market. For the longest time, the attractive districts of Koh Samui and Phuket have been the "places to be: for high-end villa developers. However, this trend has significantly changed in the last 10 years, as luxury property developers have begun expanding their horizons and constructing high-end villas in other regions of the country. The success in luxury property construction can be attributed to the increased demand for high-end villas by both local and foreign patrons.
Ever since its humble beginnings, the Thailand Property Awards has managed to recognize the impressive contributions of property developers who build three units or more. The addition of these two new categories, however, aims to laud the quality of standalone construction projects, according to Terry Blackburn, CEO of Ensign Media. Blackburn believes that these two new categories can acknowledge the passion and desire of several individuals to build their own dream homes. Add to these persons are the architects and interior designers who have helped them transform their blueprint dreams into fruition.
