The property market is expected to see lots of growth this year, so related businesses – like swimming pool product suppliers, installers, and maintenance providers – will also enjoy plenty of growth, according to experts at an industry briefing. Landscapers and landscape designers will also benefit from this growth. Sophon Pornchokechai, the president of the Agency for Real Estate Affairs, spoke at the Pool and Spa Tech Asia 2012 briefing. This briefing was organised by Impact Exhibition Management Company. He stated that approximately 96,000 housing developments would be built this year, which is an 11,000 unit improvement over last year’s 85,000 developments. He predicted that about 60 percent of these developments will be by real estate professionals, and that projects upcountry were increasing as well.

The marketing director of JD Pool, Nipat Pacharapa, stated that Thailand’s swimming pool business carried a worth of 4 billion baht per year and was expected to see over 15 percent yearly growth as demand from housing projects, hotels, and resorts increases. Customers that are living in houses that are worth more than 4 million baht are all wanting to add pools to their properties to improve the atmosphere of the home and support at-home family activities. The Vice President of the Thai Association of Landscape Architects, Lerlit Nitthichaiyo, has said that these factors would help all sorts of businesses grow and see plenty of success: designers, equipment suppliers, construction companies, maintenance businesses, green suppliers and creators, and more. Pool and Spa Tech Asia 2012 opens from September 19 to September 21 at Hall 5 of Impart Exhibition Centre in Muang Thong Thani.

It is Southeast Asia’s pool and spa industry trade exhibition and conference, a large event that all related professionals will want to – and should – make arrangements to attend. The topic of market growth will be covered at this conference, along with seminars on topics meant to improve the knowledge of the spa and pool business. Seminars to help business owners prepare for the Asean Economic Community that will start in 2015 will also take place, which makes this conference extremely valuable to any business owner that wishes to remain competitive once this occurs. There are over 3,000 Thai spa and pool operators, and the exhibition is a wonderful opportunity for each and every one. Distributors and producers in the international and domestic levels can take advantage of the up-and-coming marketing opportunities to expand their businesses, and can expect to have many networking opportunities. Registering before June 20, 2012 enables attendees and exhibitors to enjoy early bird benefits. According to the conference’s fact sheet, over 150 organisations are expected to be exhibiting and the event is limited to professional attendees – that is to say that it is a trade only event, and the public cannot attend. Exhibitors will be listed on the conference’s website, with trade professionals and buyers receiving plenty of notice about who will be there and what will be going on.
