M.R. Kukrit's Nirvana

Begin your day with a tour around the grandiose abode of Thailand's Prime Minister M.R. Kukrit Pramoj at 19 Soi Phra Phinij, Thanon Sathorn Tai Road. Reputed not only as museum but also a testament to his exemplary talents--as a politician, writer and poet--its five traditional houses were built under his meticulous supervision. Such monumental process took over two long decades to finish. Each house is embellished with his prized collections of fine-art treasures such as ceramics, Buddha images, and other pieces of precious furniture.

With an admission fee of 20 baht for children and 50 baht for adults, the house is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. only on Saturday, Sundays and public holidays.

 

Kathmandu Photo Gallery

It doesn't matter if you are a photography enthusiast or not; let pictures embark you on a journey to your next destination: the Kathmandu Photo Gallery. It evokes an experience that feeds your psyche and stirs your emotions more than anything else.
