Raimon Land Sees More Luxury Construction Developments in the Future
With its impressive financial figures in 2012, Raimon Land Property Development is deciding to push forth with more luxury construction projects in Bangkok, as well as other tourist areas in Thailand. Focus on the said projects will be continued as they are the key elements to Raimon Land’s success, according to Lionel Lee, who is the company’s new director and majority stakeholder.
With its impressive financial figures in 2012, Raimon Land Property Development is deciding to push forth with more luxury construction projects in Bangkok, as well as other tourist areas in Thailand. Focus on the said projects will be continued as they are the key elements to Raimon Land’s success, according to Lionel Lee, who is the company’s new director and majority stakeholder. He announced the luxury development plans together with the release of Raimon Land’s results last March. In 2012, Raimon Land received a total profit of THB 496 million. Its EBITDA, on the other hand, skyrocketed with an impressive revenue of THB 1.058 billion. According to the Pattaya Mail, this has escalated the company’s revenues to a notable 33%.
A Backgrounder
Listed in the Stock Exchange in 1994, Raimon Land is a successful property development company whose management staff was revamped in 2002. Since it revitalized its development ways in 2004, the company has managed to complete eight luxury properties in a period of 6 years, with three located in Bangkok, two in Pattaya and another two in Phuket.
The Lofts Ekkamai
Raimon Land’s new venture in Bangkok is the development of the Lofts Ekkamai, a 28-storey project featuring 264 units. The housing offerings will range from one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, to roomy duplex units. The Lofts Ekkamai, which occupies freehold land in Sukhumvit-Thonglor-Ekkamai measuring a massive 2 rai, aims to attract local buyers, as well as foreigners who wish to live and retire in Thailand. The THB 2.1-million development project, which is planned by HB design, features modern, high-quality apartments at reasonable prices. Apart from the low cost, the Lofts Ekkamai also boasts of exquisite facilities and accessibility to public transportation hubs. Other Ventures in Bangkok
Apart from more housing projects, Raimon Land plans to diversify the company by settings its sights on other profit-generating ventures, such as commercial building rentals, hotel management revenues and food and beverage stalls, according to Lee. Raimon Land also plans to start with a Serviced Residence Project at the River, in coordination with Klapsons. The company plans on imitating the design of the Vue Fusion Mall which is also located by Raimon Land’s The River project. Under the helm of Lee, Raimon Land will also undertake redesigning plans for the River Promenade, which is situated along the Chao Phraya River. With these proposals, Raimon Land is more than determined in actuating its goal of developing more luxury projects in the near future.
