Baipai Cooking School is a two-story townhouse located just thirty minutes from Downtown Bangkok.  The building’s breezy design coupled with the personal workstations and accommodating staff makes one feel at home in a jiffy, therefore, ready to cook up a storm. Baipai cooking courses are short courses and are conducted in English by Thai professionals who have at least ten years of experience under their chef’s hats. Classes are offered to people with varying experience, ranging from beginners to veteran chefs. The courses run daily from Monday to Saturday, 2 courses a day: morning and afternoon. A student needs only to shell out THB 2,200 for one four-hour class which features a set menu. The class starts with a short introduction and explanation of four favorite Thai dishes the students will be preparing. The extensive list of recipes includes Khang Keaw Wan Gai (Green Curry Chicken in Coconut Milk), Phad Thai (stir fried soft rice noodles with prawns and tamarind sauce) and Tom Yum Goong (clear hot and sour soup with fresh prawns). The students then get to hand-pick fresh Thai ingredients from the herb garden, watch a demonstration, and taste samples.
